该取材于武穴市4000多名党员下社区、进小区，通过党建引领老旧小区改造的故事：建于上世纪七、八十年代的老油厂小区，有9栋楼160多户居民，是一个典型的无物管、无主管部门、无人防物防的“三无”小区。这里许多居民乱搭乱建杂物间、小车棚，下水道破损无人维修，生活污水横流，居住环境十分恶劣。有条件的住户外出购房搬离后，又将这里的房子出租出去，导致这儿的居住环境更加复杂。龙潭社区主任张昊阳借老旧小区改造之际，做活党建+的文章，派出社区片警樊玉锋任第一支部书记，引导居民开展“法治、德治、自治”。在社区工作者和小区党支部+业主委员会的共同努力下，解决了一批居民急难愁盼的事，终于让居住在这里的近千名群众生活出现了新业态。

As bacteriologist Lena (38) drives past a burning car, she hears a scream of a dying woman.
